I'm glad to hear that you had a great experience this year. So many negatives out there - it's really good to hear a positive! Kindergarten is one of those things that I thought I was ready for - and, as it turns out - I'm so not. For a long time, I thought that my "teacherness" would come in handy as we moved into this next phase. So wrong. But ... I think you have the exact right idea. God is going to take care of my Little Man (and me) - and not just in KDG. He always has. So I have to trust in that while I'm chewing my fingernails and wondering what's around the bend. Kindergarten is one of those things that I thought I was ready for – and, as it turns out – I’m so not. For a long time, I thought that my “teacherness” would come in handy as we moved into this next phase. So wrong.

My oldest just finished Kindergarten. I had many of the same aprehensions as you did and probably even more neurosis about it. He sailed through Kindergarten without hesitation and I am so thankful for his teacher. I prayed the whole Summer that God would give him the teacher that would be best for him.
