Windows Down!

It’s a glorious night and I had a long drive home! I’ve been conventioning for the last two days and the convention center is way across town!
On the way home, I took advantage of my “alone time” in the car and rolled the windows down. This is something that I can’t do with Husband and Little Man in the car … something about wind and noise. I must say that I don’t completely understand.
Great, Jen. You drove home with the windows down. Big ding-dang deal!
Well here’s the deal. Somewhere along the way, when I was singing to the music and marveling about how cool the evening was, I looked down at the controls and noticed that the temperature was 93 degrees!
I’m not kidding! It was AC off, wind in the hair, cool.
When did that happen, I wonder. There was a time – maybe a long time ago now – when, at 93 degrees, we’d all be at the mall looking for AC and belly-aching about the heat. Now, here I am some (insert mumble here) years later and I’m thinking that 93 is delightful!
Ahhh … life is funny.
